What does it involve
Enjoy a unique visit to our vineyards, an itinerary designed to immerse you in more than 25 centuries of wine history in Penedès, framed within a millenary tradition.
We will begin by taking a journey through time to discover the origins of wine, from the Iberian period, through the Greeks and the Romans, and exploring their rituals, beliefs and customs around this highly prized drink.
The story will continue at the family museum, where you will be able to contemplate a wide collection of ancient objects related to the world of wine, utensils devoted to transport and storage, traditional winemaking tools, and various items that show how wine has been part of everyday life in Penedès over the generations.
To round off the experience, you will enjoy a tasting of local specialties, pairing the classic carquinyolis and catànies with two wines from the Penedès DO. One of them will be served in the most traditional and entertaining way: drinking it from a porró!
