What does it involve
On Sunday, June 14, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the Torrentfondo district will once again host the 18th edition of the traditional "Quatre Tombs" festival.
This year also marks the 25th anniversary of this tradition, which began in 2001 in the heart of Sant Llorenç d’Hortons through the initiative of Mr. Antonio Malet and the "Colla dels Vells Records".
What is included?
As is customary, the day will begin at 9:00 a.m. with the arrival of horse-drawn carriages and a community breakfast. Visitors will then be able to enjoy an exhibition of carts and carriages, some of which are genuine pieces of rural history and heritage. At 12:00 noon, the "Quatre Tombs" parade will begin, featuring the traditional procession of horses and carriages through the streets of the village, followed by the blessing of the animals, officiated by Father Jordi Tres.
