The VINSEUM, Museum of Wine Cultures of Catalonia, offers the opportunity to enjoy all the senses of wine in a unique setting that combines the charm of historic architecture with the comforts of the most modern building.
Located in the historic center of Vilafranca del Penedès, just 50 km from Barcelona.
We have several spaces: a fully equipped auditorium, a covered Gothic courtyard, a terrace, a tasting room, and an activity room.
The VINSEUM also offers you the possibility of organizing a guided tour of the museum’s permanent exhibition prior to the private event.
The VINSEUM auditorium is a multi-purpose space, suitable for all types of events such as concerts, performances, as well as for video, film or audiovisual exhibitions, press conferences, seminars, debates, conferences, courses, presentations or award ceremonies, etc. Located on the ground floor of the Royal Palace, it is a fully adapted and accessible space.
The VINSEUM tasting room is an ideal space for small-scale events, particularly for hosting tastings. It is an accessible room that connects to the museum’s tasting area. Located on the main floor of the Royal Palace, with views of the Basilica of Santa Maria, it combines elements of the original Gothic construction with a large painting by the artist Fèlix Plantalech.
The first-floor terrace is an interior terrace accessible through the exhibition, surrounded by planters that block off the view of the surrounding neighbors’ patios. It is an ideal space for cocktail parties, cocktail parties or midnight movies. Being an outdoor space, it is subject to inclement weather.
Courtyard. A completely renovated and covered Gothic courtyard that can be used regardless of weather conditions. Due to its central location, its use is restricted in terms of hours and as long as it does not interfere with the operation of the VINSEUM Tavern or overlap with the museum’s program of events.
The VINSEUM activity room is a multipurpose space, ideal for small-scale events such as press conferences, training sessions, or workshops. Located on the main floor of the Royal Palace, it features two windows: a Gothic one overlooking the street and another with views of the palace courtyard.
