This experience was created to discover the Penedès through two complementary visits: a tour at Vinseum, Museum of Wine Cultures of Catalonia, and a visit at Can Lleó de Vilanoveta Winery, to understand wine from its origins to tasting.
Guided by the owners of the cellars, visitors will witness how we make our cavas in the purest traditional artisan style: we will show you how a vat foot is prepared with French yeasts, how we induce the second fermentation naturally, how we ‘rhyme’ the bottles (an old system for stacking the bottles during the second fermentation and ageing...
Exclusive activity for the twenty-fifth anniversary of the Penedès Wine Route.
The activity will take place at Cuscó Berga Winery where we can observe the shades of Penedès, take a tour of the winery, and paint with wine and oil guided by the artist Marta Arañó from Tinta i Vi; playing with the color charts of the wines from the winery and their oil.
An activity full of magic and color that will let us look at and enjoy Penedès from a different perspective and also allow us to taste it.
In Subirats, in the heart of Penedès, enjoy a guided tour of a typical Catalan estate dating back to the 1600s, surrounded by vineyards and forest with views of the Monastery of St. Sebastià dels Gorgs. We will visit the winery’s vineyards, located around the Massana family’s ancestral home. You will learn about the history of the winery and the family, as well as the philosophy and fundamental principles behind caring for the vines and producing all wines and cavas following a biodynamic philosophy, respecting nature and the ecology of the environment.
