If you want to know where the bubbles in cava come from and learn a host of anecdotes, visit the Cava Centre, a distillery built in 1814 that now offers an audiovisual journey with animations, aromas, and music that will allow you to discover the world of cava with all five senses.
Next Saturday, May 31, we will celebrate the second edition of the Soca-Rel fair, from 11 am to 7 pm. It is a fair where the cultural, social and business fabric that we have in the Pla comes together. Foreign communities that live in the Pla and small artisans are also present. This year we will also have the presence of residents of Ladoix-Serrigny, a town in Burgundy with which we are twinned. Specifically, the mayor and members of his town council and representatives of the twinning will come, as well as some winemakers from his town.
Once again, the monumental complex of the Gelida Castle becomes a musical stage. The Gelida Musicians Concert will have the emblematic setting of the Plaça del Pedró and the illuminated Castle wall as a backdrop. Groups and soloists will take to the stage, offering all the residents of the town a rich range of themes and musical styles that are one hundred percent Gelida.
The incomparable setting of the Plaça del Pedró hosts a new Gelida Musicians Night at the Castle, a concert that has become an unmissable event at the gates of the Festa Major.
Antitast proposes to return to the most essential way of drinking: without protocols, without technicalities and without haste. A meeting around natural wine, music and conversation, in the same place where we have the origins of our vine and wine culture.
The activity takes place in an exceptional heritage environment (Do Vinifera), with wines served freely while stocks last: several vintages of Judes Macabeu and a selection of five monovarietals of indigenous varieties - parellada, xarel·lo, macabeu, sumoll and trepat - made naturally and without sophistication.
